Last year was a really rough year as most of you know. I lost my Squidoo account in March 2014 after 7 years of writing on their website. Last January I still had most of my work still up on Squidoo but traffic was still on the decline and steadily tanking.
In January 2014, I made almost $1,200, which was about 1/3 of what it was the year before. In March 2014 when they took my account I lost almost all my income, I was only bringing in a couple hundred a month for awhile. 2014 was a very depressing year for me.
2015 is LOOKING MUCH BETTER!
I'm very happy to report that 2015 is looking a lot brighter than 2014. I have already made MORE in Amazon than I did last January and there is still 3 days left in the month! I know that $1,228 might not seem like a whole lot to some people, but considering I had to practically start over from scratch, I'm super stoked! 2015 is going to be the year of His restoration!
Who is this funny looking guy? Ha Ha. Sorry Pastor Prince if you're reading this. This is my favorite television pastor Joseph Prince and I watch him every single day. In the first week of January he preached a sermon on 2015 being The Year of God's Restoration and I for one, believe it.
I've read every single one of these book from Pastor Prince and I couldn't even pick a favorite! If you are struggling with depression, hopelessness, or fear in any area of your life, his books are the best thing that will ever happen to you! He shows you practical ways to overcoming any challenging area of your life.
Ever since I picked up his books, I have a totally new perspective in life. No exaggerating!
I made a total of $179.55 for the month of January 2015. This is for my December 2014 commissions that I earned. I use their merchant Wayfair for different home decorating items on one of my blogs and on a couple pages over at Zujava (but I don't suggest writing there anymore). I made a little less in Share A Sale last month than I did this month but I don't expect next month to be as high unless some crazy awesome sale comes in.
Art.com sent me $23.14 for my AllPosters affiliate earnings. It took me an entire year to get a payment from them because I only use their stuff once in a great while. I used to use them a lot but when Squidoo tanked I had to start over and I don't get as many of their links in as I used too. I think AllPosters is a great affiliate resource because of the vast array of pictures and posters they have. You can find a poster for just about anything and that really helps on certain articles where you have no image of your own to use. They have posters of flowers, food, celebrities, famous artwork and more. I know twenty bucks doesn't seem like a lot but I'm not aggressively selling their stuff.
I made a total of $10.19 for my pay-per-view earnings from WritEdge in Novemeber 2014. That's a little more than last month as far as my pay-per-view earnings go, but I saw a drop in affiliate revenue.
I made a total of $1.95 for my affiliate earnings through links I have on WritEdge. I sold 6 things through those links and 3 of the items shipped, so it could be that not everything got out the door in time at Amazon or the order got cancelled. I would have to fish through Decembers earnings to find out.
All the sales on WritEdge are coming from on article I have about Amazon FBA Supplies. The supplies listed are not very expensive, so the commissions are low. WritEdge is more of an article writing site for me that links back to my blogs, so the fact that I'm bringing in any affiliate income is pretty impressive. I made $11 in affiliate sales the month before using WritEdge. Every month is a surprise as far as that income goes.
